My greatest expansion began when I stopped following “shoulds” and started aligning with who I truly am.
At 23, I turned down law school to start a cannabis brand that would later sell for over $25M.
At the time, I knew nothing about cannabis or sales, and most people thought I was crazy. But it felt right.
Four years later, we had scaled into California’s #1 edibles brand, generating $20M a year in wholesale revenue. We IPO’d, and by 26 my equity climbed into seven figures.
But success didn’t mean happiness and alignment.
I over gave to work and relationships that drained me. Stayed small. Abandoned myself so completely that I developed a debilitating chronic illness.
Eventually, I reached a breaking point.
Exhausted and done pretending the life I had built was truly aligned with what I wanted. So I started making different choices.
I stopped trying to “pick a place” and began living in multiple cities. I stopped trying to choose between corporate and entrepreneurship and created a path for both.
I let go of fear and self-judgment and began building a life that actually reflected what I wanted.
That’s when my real expansion began — and how the work I do today to help others create the same change was born.
